Between the ages of 6 months and 6 years old, your child will be taught life-saving floats. Depending on development, after the age of one a child can learn the float-swim-float method to safety.

Survival Swim Lessons

Safety of the Lesson is the Highest Priority

Feel confident in the safety of the lesson conducted, as your child's medical history will be evaluated, lesson adapted to the individual needs of the child, with daily evaluations of your child taken. Constant monitoring of your child's breath control, behavior, and recovery are standard operating procedures in a lesson.

Development of Lifesaving Skills

After approximately 6 weeks, your child should be able to demonstrate life saving skills in the water. Depending on gross motor skill development, your child will be ale to roll back on to their float or swim, float swim to safety.

Rest assured - As an ISR Certified Instructor, Infant Survival Resource offers one of the only intensive, hands on training for infants and children

Graduated ISR Lessons, What's next?

Graduate - Student that's completed ISR 6 week course developing all of the life-saving skills: Swim, Float, Swim in sequence. Demonstrating skills with clothes at the end of the program. 

Maintenance - A recent Graduate - 4 Weekly Lessons, Followed by 2 Bi-Weekly, transitioning to Once Monthly Lessons till ages out of program. 

Refresher - Approximately 2 weeks of Lessons for a graduate of the program, after a 4 month or greater period of being out of the water.
